Albi is 20mins drive from the property and is the nearest large town. All amenities are to be found including large supermarkets, schools, university, golf course and regional administration offices. Albi was the birthplace of the artist Toulouse-Lautrec and houses the world's largest collection of his work in the old bishop's palace.

Albi is situated on the river Tarn and is famous for its fortified cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum

The area is also well known for the wide range of outside and adventure sports on offer: from canoeing and kayaking in the Aveyron gorges to horse riding and hiking in the Gresigne national park.
